London – The appearance of the latest Jaguar sports car F-Type also marks the farewell to the Jaguar oval shape grille design that has been known for a long time.

As quoted from autoevolution, Jaguar confirmed that XK model will be the last Jaguar model using oval radiator grille design.

Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum, said that in the future, Jaguar will prefer the trapezoidal grille design on its sports car, just like the Jaguar F-Type.

Callum added that the presence of F-type it is intended to represent a new era for Jaguar brand.

F-Type uses 3.0-liter supercharged V6 petrol engine, with power up to 340 PS.

F-Type only takes 4.9 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km / h with maximum speed 300 km / hour. Together with 8-speed Quickshift transmission with SportShift manual transmission sensation.
