London – Sport Utility Vehicle ( SUV ) car market is growing throughout the world. Luxury car brand, Lexus is reportedly developing a new SUV to be opposed to the Range Rover Evoque.

Lexus showed the Lexus LF – NX SUV concept car at Frankfurt in September and its turbocharged version in Tokyo last month.

Reportedly, the Lexus brand-new SUV will be born in Geneva in March taking many inspiration from this LF – NX concept.

” Our customers always wanted a combination of design and technology , but the design certainly has become more important , ” said Director of Lexus Europe Van der Burgh in Auto Express .

In this version of the concept, the LF-NX comes with two engine options. The 2.5-liter diesel engine combined with an electric motor to produce 220 horsepower. There is also a 2.0-liter petrol engine which is equipped with a turbocharged, which has been shown in Tokyo.

“Globally, our goal is to sustain growth. We want to enter new markets and we are already planning for 2020 and 2025. We do not want to copy the BMW and we certainly do not chase BMW and Mercedes volume. Our focus is to keep the brand remain individual,” says Richard Balshaw, Lexus Director of the UK.
